The wedding planner at the resort handles ceremony, flowers, music, and reception. I handle the guest room block, individual bookings, dietary requirements, group dining nights, and transfers.
The right resort is one that offers complimentary wedding packages when the guest room block hits a threshold. Often twelve to fifteen rooms. The couple essentially gets their wedding paid for by their guests' bookings.

Can guests pay individually?
Yes. Most group bookings allow individual payment per room or per traveler. The host family is not responsible for collecting from cousins.
Do you handle dietary restrictions and accessibility?
Yes. I collect dietary and accessibility needs from each guest and coordinate with the resort or cruise line before arrival.
What about the cousin who never books on time?
Honestly, this is one of the most useful things a group travel agent does. I send personalized reminders, follow up on stragglers, and hold rooms in the group block as long as the contract allows.
Can you plan destination weddings?
Yes. Sandals and Beaches both offer wedding packages. So do select Caribbean and Mexican resorts. I coordinate the wedding package and the guest room block as one project, for couples everywhere from Rome to the Cartersville and Bartow County side of Northwest Georgia.
How far ahead should I start planning?
Twelve to eighteen months for destination weddings. Six to twelve months for multi-generation family trips. Larger groups need the longer runway.
